Hank Topper is a litigator who has represented public and private companies, financial institutions, private investment funds, and government agencies. He is experienced in a wide variety of practice areas including commercial litigation, corporate governance, banking, bankruptcy, securities, antitrust, consumer fraud and deception, civil rights matters, and internal and governmental investigations.

Before joining Selendy Gay, Hank was an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.

Representative Matters:

  • Defended members of the CBS Board of Directors in Delaware litigation concerning the 2019 ViacomCBS merger.
  • Defended the Metropolitan Transportation Authority in a large class action lawsuit that resulted in favorable settlement.
  • Represented a group of creditors in litigation surrounding the bankruptcy of a leading global satellite company.
  • Represented publicly traded residential real estate company in a government investigation.

Hank earned his J.D., cum laude, from Cornell Law School, where he was the Senior Articles Editor for the Cornell Law Review.
