Partner Temidayo Aganga-Williams spoke after a special screening of FRONTLINE’s “Democracy on Trial” documentary. The event was held at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., the world's leading professional organization for journalists.
The documentary examines the evidence gathered by the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol and the historic charges brought against former President Trump.
Temidayo was joined by Mike Wiser, who produced the documentary. Their conversation was moderated by Emily Wilkins, president of the National Press Club and a CNBC correspondent.
During the discussion, Temidayo shared his experience as Senior Investigative Counsel for the Committee and his thoughts on the lasting impact this unprecedented attack has had on democracy in the United States.
To produce “Democracy on Trial,” the FRONTLINE team interviewed Temidayo, along with over 20 journalists, lawyers, and current and former members of Congress who served on the Committee.
