Our Body Politic’s latest podcast series titled “January 6th: An American Story” features Temidayo Aganga-Williams and other investigators of color from the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol. From his role as one of the investigative leads on the historic Committee that uncovered how former President Trump and his allies sought to prevent the peaceful transfer of power after the election, Temidayo shares his perspective on the legal and moral implications of the January 6th attack. He and other investigators explore the political factors that led to the attack and recount how they joined the Committee and their roles in building the case against former President Trump.
Before joining the investigation, Temidayo was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. He was a member of the Business and Securities Fraud section, in which he investigated and prosecuted white collar cases, including bank fraud, tax fraud, mail and wire fraud, and Bank Secrecy Act violations.
