Selendy Gay Announces Leadership Changes

Selendy Gay is pleased to announce leadership changes that reflect the firm’s extraordinary growth and position it for ongoing success. Kelley Cornish has been appointed Managing Partner of Selendy Gay, while Sloane Levy has joined the firm as Chief Operations Officer. Maria Ginzburg is stepping down as Managing Partner after more than three years in the position.

Working closely with Selendy Gay’s entire leadership team, Cornish and Levy will further enhance the firm’s delivery of the highest caliber of litigation services in complex, high-stakes trials and investigations.

“As our firm continues to grow in size and strength, so do our strategies, initiatives, and the team leading them,” said Jennifer Selendy, founding partner. “Kelley and Sloane have strong leadership backgrounds that will help us build on the positive momentum the firm is experiencing and propel us toward an even greater future.”

As Managing Partner, Cornish will oversee the firm’s operational, financial, and strategic direction. Cornish joined the firm as a partner in February 2024 after more than 20 years in leadership positions at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. Previously, she served as a partner and a member of the Firm Executive Committee at Sidley Austin LLP.

“We are confident in Kelley’s visionary leadership and her remarkable wealth of experience driving internal and client-facing initiatives at two world-class law firms,” said Faith Gay, founding partner. “We are grateful to Maria Ginzburg for deftly steering our firm through a period of extraordinary growth over her three-and-a-half-year tenure as managing partner.”

As Chief Operations Officer, Levy will drive the firm’s strategic growth, organizational effectiveness, and corporate governance. Levy, an accomplished attorney, has nearly 30 years of experience within law firms and companies. Prior to joining Selendy Gay, she served as Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel of Cinch Home Services, where she focused on legal, compliance, and risk management, and oversaw the company’s administrative functions. Previously, Levy served as Chief Operations Officer of Outten & Golden; Director of Business Development at Paul, Weiss, Rifkin, Wharton & Garrison; and Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Affinion Group.

"Sloane’s history of legal and operational leadership makes her a perfect fit for Selendy Gay," said Philippe Selendy, founding partner at Selendy Gay. " Her professionalism and pragmatism will make her a tremendous asset for our firm and clients.”

These leadership changes follow seven years of exceptional growth since Selendy Gay launched in 2018. The firm has grown to more than 80 lawyers, including 19 partners and more than 60 associates. Among the firm’s successes in 2024 is a $1.1 billion trial win for the investors in Auris Health in a merger earnout dispute against Johnson & Johnson.

Cornish holds a Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pennsylvania State University. Levy holds a law degree from George Washington University’s National Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Government from Clark University.
