Kayla Chen earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, and holds a Masters in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University where she was a Schwarzman Scholar. In law school, she contributed to the Georgetown Law Journal on Poverty Law & Policy and was part of the Appellate Litigation Clinic, in addition to serving as a mentor for the Women of Color Collective, Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, and RISE. Kayla externed for the Department of Health and Human Services and the Office of the Attorney General of New York State. Kayla was previously also a Fulbright Scholarship Recipient in Taiwan.
