In a special feature with Creditor Rights Coalition, In Conversation with Women in Credit, founding partner Jennifer Selendy shared how she navigated her career in restructuring and weighed in on industry trends. The conversation explored how Jennifer started her practice in bankruptcy-related litigation, and how forming Selendy Gay was a transformational step in her career.

Jennifer represents both plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes disputes. In her plaintiffs practice, she is increasingly called on to help clients in disputes related to liability management transactions, such as uptiering transactions, when they are seeking to vindicate their rights as creditors by going to trial. To date, she has represented plaintiffs in actions against TriMark, TPC Group, Mitel, and Robertshaw. Jennifer was named one of “America’s Top 200 Lawyers” by Forbes, “2023 Litigator of the Year” by International Financial Law Review, and one of 2022’s “Elite Women of the Plaintiffs Bar” by the National Law Journal, a small and highly selective list.
