Selendy Gay is proud to support America’s universities, professors, and students whose academic freedoms are being threatened by misuse of federal authority and in violation of the rule of law.
On behalf of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) and its Harvard chapter, Selendy Gay filed a complaint and Temporary Restraining Order to end the government’s arbitrary and capricious demands that threaten academic independence and free speech.
Selendy Gay also authored an amicus brief on behalf of The Presidents’ Alliance on Higher Education and Immigration, as well as 86 supporting organizations, in support of the AAUP’s motion in AAUP v. Rubio for a preliminary injunction to halt large-scale arrests, detentions, and deportations of students and faculty.
